What Happens If We Kill All Mosquitoes?

Spread the love

Mosquitoes… perhaps one of the most hated creatures in the world. It seems that we have prepared and used all the methods and weapons to eliminate this bloodsucker. But of course, they are not extinct! Well, but, what happens if we kill not only the mosquitoes in our homes but…what happens if we kill all mosquitoes?

Completely disappeared?

Before we start killing all the mosquitoes in the world–interesting facts–of the entire mosquito population, it turns out that only 0.05% of mosquitoes like to eat blood, the rest are… vegetarians!

But miraculously this annoying animal that likes to suck blood, eats victims that can kill as many people as the population of the city of Tasikmalaya every year! Because of that, the mosquito holds the title of an animal that is more deadly than sharks, lions, or snakes!

Seeing this danger, should we kill all the mosquitoes? Then what would happen if this small deadly animal… Completely disappeared?

So, What is the Answer?

Okay, the answer is maybe we don’t need to kill all the mosquitoes! Because only a few mosquitoes harm humans. And instead of being killed, some researchers have found bacteria that can kill the viruses carried by mosquitoes, so they don’t infect humans!

So if this virus or mosquito is destroyed, does that mean that human deaths will decrease drastically? Okay, the answer is maybe yes….but maybe not. Because it is possible that if the mosquitoes disappear, more severe diseases will emerge from other species. That could be even more terrible. But other than that, just imagine, if the mosquito species disappear, perhaps the human population will explode in number! And… It’s not only the flowers that lose their couriers, but thousands of people will also become unemployed because possibly mosquito repellent companies will go bankrupt everywhere!
